Amy Winehouse is the latest to join the "27 Club" when she was found dead in her home in Camden, London. Amy was extremely talented and it is unfortunate that she was only able to live to the age of 27. Ironically, she isn't the only musical superstar who has died at the young age of 27. I don't know what it is with this age, but I find this trend to be sad and extremely disturbing!

Brian Jones- founder of the Rolling Stones.Cause of Death- Drowned in a swimming pool
Cause of Death- Autopsy shows choking on vomit after mixing wine with sleeping pills
Kurt Cobain- Founding member and lead singer of Nirvana
Cause of Death- Suicide
Janis Joplin- Lead singer for several bands such as: Big Brother and Holding Company, The Kozmic Blues Bands, and Full Tilt Boogie Band.
Cause of Death- Heroin Overdose
There are many other musicians that are a part of this "club." It is just sad to see such talented artists die at such a young age. Rest in Peace!

Jim Morrison of the Doors was also part of the 27 club, all such a lose of talent for us!
There was a list of about 40-50 people in this club. It is truly a shame!
Such a sad story.. 27 is so young to die, yet they "lived" while they were alive. May they all rest in peace.
Well if we were to look deeper into who really controls what we watch and listen to... I'm sure the answer would be there. I understand the fact of these people living a faster life because of the money, fame, and fortune. However, the #27 hunts me....so many went either overdose, car crash, unexplained death/accident, and plane crash! Just always believe there is an answer!

Maybe they made an agreement with the Devil for fame and had their soul to pay at the age of 27. Maybe we should look into how long each person was 27 for?

Gotta be something about this age when you're famous. It's not just musicians - wasn't James Dean 27 too?
What shocks me more than the age at which they left this earth is how they died. Drugs, alcohol took so many lives of great musicians, artists, singers, etc. Sometimes people aren't for the impact the industry will have on your lives. Be careful what you ask for!!
